Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A Highlight, story-telling and love story film?
A: We offer 3 different styles of Wedding Film edits that we offer with our packages:
Our Highlight Film is a 5-7 minute video that shows key highlights of your day, from getting ready all the way to your grand exit. It’s a great choice for couples who want a simple video recap of their day.
Our Story-Telling Wedding Films average around 7-10 minutes, and allows more time to use audio clips from your Ceremony, Toasts, and other noteworthy moments from your wedding day to build a story. The first portion of the film focuses on the wedding details, and the “getting ready” portion of the day, leading up to the ceremony. Depending on the flow of the film, the second portion will transition to a second song, including highlights of the main events from the Reception, as well as some dancing footage.
Our Love Story Films include a Love Story Session, which we will schedule either before or after your wedding day. With the Love Story Session, we will have a one-on-one interview with the two of you to talk about your story in front of a camera, and then go on a Photowalk with you to capture some footage of the two of you together. We will then use the interview and footage from the Photowalk to create a film. This can be done as a stand-alone film, or combined with your wedding film to tell a full Love Story.
Q: WHAT is the difference between a reception highlight and raw reception reel?
A: The Reception Highlight is a 3-5 highlight video of all the fun from your reception! It has a lighter tone, featuring the best moments of your reception, including highlights of the main events, as well as your guests showing off their best dance moves!
The Raw Reception Reel is a docutmentary-style video compilation of all the dancing footage from your reception. The video is raw and unfiltered, but can be a fun experience to watch your wedding as if you were right there on the dance floor!
Q: WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT CHAPTERS THAT YOU OFFER?
A: We offer several different chapters that can be included in your Wedding Package. Our Chapters are a full-length video/series of videos that are shot documentary-style (think of a traditional wedding video) to capture the events just as they happened in real time. Here is a list of what they are and what to expect with them:
Pre-Ceremony Chapter: The Pre-Ceremony Chapter will include important moments before your Ceremony, including First Looks (eg: father of the bride, bridesmaids, groom), Letter-Readings, Blessings, and special gift exchanges.
Ceremony Chapter- Your ceremony will be captured from start to finish with 3 camera angles. Audio will be captured with a mic on the groom and on the officiant, as well as a backup mic that can be plugged into a sound system, if available.
Reception Formalities Chapter - The Formalities Formalities Chapter will capture all the main events of your reception. Events include but are not limited to: Grand Entrance, First Dance, Father-Daughter Dance, Groom-Mother Dance, Cake Cutting, Bouquet/Garter Tosses, Last Dance, Grand Exit, etc.
Toasts Chapter- The Toasts during your reception will be captured in their entirety. Each toast will be separated by each speaker. Audio will be captured through your DJ’s sound board, or through the speakers.
Rehearsal Dinner Chapter- The Rehearsal Dinner Chapter includes full coverage of your Rehearsal Dinner. Any toasts given during your dinner will be captured from start to finish. This Chapter will also include a 3-5 minute highlight video of your evening!
Well-Wishing Chapter- The Well-Wishing Chapter will be captured primarily during your Cocktail Hour (right after the Family Photos) and throughout your Reception with a one-camera setup. This will allow your guests to say something in front of the camera for you, like a Video Guestbook! These clips are then compiled together for you to enjoy!
Q:Is it possible to ADD CHAPTERS after we’ve booked our package?
A: The great thing about offering full-day coverage with 2 videographers is that we are able to capture your entire wedding day! This allows you to be able to add chapters to your package at any time, whether it’s the time of booking or after the wedding! The only exceptions to this would be the Ceremony Livestream, Well-Wishing Chapter and Rehearsal Dinner Chapter, which would need to be selected at the time of booking.
To request additional chapters, simply email us at info@mobilboheme.com and we will send you an invoice for the requested chapters. Once we receive payment for the additions, we will notify you when available to view with the rest of your package.
Q:CAN WE PICK OUR SONGS FOR OUR FILMS?
A: Due to copyright laws, we must use royalty-free music, or purchase a Standard Use license for the song to use in our films. Using your responses from your Wedding Day Questionnaire, along with our observations of your interactions from your Wedding Day, we scrub through hundreds of songs to find the right tone, pace and build that we feel would best carry your wedding film. We then hand-select the best song and adjust the length and pace of the song as needed.
Our teasers are designed to give you an idea of the look and feel of your wedding film, and we welcome your feedback and input before we finalize your film! If you would like to be a part of the song selection, we would be more than happy to work with you to pick the song that reflects you and your personality! Some Premium Songs may be available for an additional licensing fee, and will be based on availability of the license. We currently use Fyrfly and TrackClub as our primary music platforms, as well as MusicBed for additional genres and music options.
Q: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET OUR VIDEOS?
A: We pride ourselves in being the primary videographers AND editors for your wedding film. While many videography companies hire out their work to third-party companies in order to achieve quicker turn-around times, we take on each and every wedding film as if it were our own. With that being said, our video turn-around time varies depending on the type of package you choose, and if your wedding falls during our peak seasons (typically Spring and Fall).
The 1-minute preview will be available on or around 1 month after your Wedding Day. We post this on our Youtube Channel to make it easier to share, and can also provide a download link upon request.
Our goal is to deliver our Highlight Packages around 8-12 weeks after your Teaser is released, but may take up to 12-16 weeks during peak wedding seasons. Larger packages may take longer due to the nature of compiling the footage, but we try our best to turn around our films as quickly as possible without compromising quality of the final product.
